Tatara base plate open comb for Masamune black
The Black edition, unlike the silver version, is created through a process called PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition). This is a thin-film coating process with high adhesion, applied through vacuum deposition of highly ionized plasma at extremely high temperatures. This method results in coatings of high purity that are chemically inert and biocompatible.
To ensure quality and durability, all parts of the Masamune razors are made of stainless steel, machined with tolerances as tight as 0.02mm.
The Masamune features a unique assembly system that provides:
- High perpendicularity between the handle and the razor head, allowing for greater precision during shaving;
- Symmetrical load distribution on the threading, preventing excessive wear and increasing durability.
HAND-FINISHED
All parts of the Masamune razors are hand-finished to remove machining marks and soften all edges.
Packaged in natural, premium, and sustainable cork, the Masamune razors are presented in a natural cork box.
