📝 Shave Summary
Today’s shave is martial with the God of War (Lambda Aris V2), Japanese ghosts of the dead (BBS soaps Shinigami) and aliens (PAA Cube)…
All kidding aside, my first encounter with Aris and the open comb shavers was friendlier than I expected. The shave was amazing, without much effort, and might make me rethink daily shaving since Aris leaves almost nothing behind!
The soap initially smells slightly of olive oil but transforms into something much better with the addition of water — rich lather and a scent (Kenzo Homme Men Inspired) that pairs perfectly with the After Shave and put me in a very good mood.
The Voskhod Stainless Blade was retired after the 4th use, not because of a problem, but to protect my skin from unnecessary pressure.
💡 Observations
- Ares V2 proved that open comb can be friendly and comfortable.
- BBS Shinigami Soap requires a lot of water but rewards with fantastic lather and fragrance.
- The Voskhod blade was retired on the 4th use for reasons of comfort, not performance.
