• Make the first pass with the grain, then one or two cross passes for an extra-smooth finish.
• Rinse the razor head frequently to prevent build-up of lather and cut hairs.
• When finished, remove the blade, dry the components, and store them in a dry place.

Maintenance and longevity
The matt-chrome coating protects the brass and zinc from corrosion and superficial scratches. Once a month, fully disassemble the safety razor and soak the parts in warm water with a few drops of mild soap; use a soft toothbrush to remove limescale and residue. Dry each component carefully, then apply a tiny drop of mineral oil to the handle screw to keep the closing action smooth.
