This plate, exclusively compatible with the Hawk safety razor series, is made of marine grade 316L stainless steel.
The Standard Closed Comb version is perfect for those seeking a medium aggressive shave without taking away the relaxing pleasure of shaving.

Finishing: These razors are working tools, not jewellery. We use a vibration finishing process that maintains the highest possible tolerances for the razors. This means that the razors will not be mirror-finished and will not be free of marks. Razors may show some milling or finishing marks.
Safety razors can be polished by the customer at a later date, but our goal is to sell the razor with the best possible tolerances and at the lowest possible price.
The metal-to-metal contact of the handle clamping against the base plate will create a ring-shaped mark on the base. It is common for handles to show micro dents due to the tumbled finish.
