Why SLOC? This word stands for Self Comb Luricating Open Comb.
What makes the SLOC different are the open comb teeth on both the top cap and plate. The design helps to trap additional shaving foam in the teeth (compared to a regular shaving head) providing additional lubrication and smoothness with each razor stroke.
