The fragrance of the 1923 shaving soap is inspired by early 20th-century scents, chiaroscuro of chypre notes that take their name from Chypre, created in 1917 by the Frenchman Francois Coty.
\nCharacterized by citrusy top notes, combined with floral notes, usually of rose, base of musk and patchouly, they were then skillfully taken up by the Paglieri company, which in 1923 produced the Felce Azzurra perfume, among the first Italian products to challenge the myth of French perfumery.
\nCompared to the original production, the prevalence of chypre notes has been reduced for the 1923 shaving soap, enhancing the fougere component, more modern and fresh, making 1923 a unisex fragrance for all seasons.
